Network Merchants, LLC (NMI) is your secure connection between your Web site and the merchant bank processing networks. eProcessing Network

 

eProcessing Network Payment Gateway is your secure connection between your Web site and the merchant bank processing networks.

ePN is owned by The Clearing House Payments Company, which is in turn owned by about 20 major banks. Together with the Federal Reserve, ePN processes all ACH transactions in the U.S. They provide the low level infrastructure needed for ACH processing.

ePN offers two simple solutions for merchants who desire to attract online customers

eProcessing Network offers a variety of Mobile Processing Solutions for a Merchant-owned iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android Phone/Tablet and Blackberry. Merchants install the ePNMobile App on to their device from the Apple AppStore or Android Market. For Blackberry users, Merchants can login to the ePN Merchant Support Center to download the App. ePN offers centralized control and secure transaction reporting for mobile devices via the secured ePN reporting site. Mobile processing solutions are available for dedicated wireless POS terminals.

eProcessing Network’s Java Point-Of-Sale (POS), ePNRetail, software for Windows®-based PCs and laptops interacting with its cloud-based gateway, enables merchants to securely process credit, PIN debit, signature capture,
check, gift card and loyalty transactions.

ePNRecur is an optional recurring transaction processing service that allows merchants to sell merchandise in installment payments and offer products and
services to their clientele on a subscription or membership basis.

ePNPlugIn for QuickBooks® is a plug-in that allows merchants real-time processing of credit card, debit card and check transactions directly within QuickBooks accounting software. Merchants can apply payments to open invoices
in one step, avoiding double-entry and reducing the amount of accounting errors.

The ePNPlugIn is compatible with QuickBooks® Pro, QuickBooks® Premier and QuickBooks® Enterprise Solutions and downloads the merchant’s Internet, POS, Mobile and Recurring Transactions directly into their QuickBooks solution.

The ePNPlugIn for QuickBooks has received Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) PA-DSS certification from the PCI Council. ePNInventory is a solution for merchants who need an automated inventory management system, but don’t have the funds or technical resources to build their own solution. ePNInventory provides a suite of reports and notifications.

 

 

Transaction Express

  

Transaction Express is a payment processing system that lets merchants accept credit cards and signature debit cards – all through any Internet connection, with no terminal needed. Transaction Express, TransFirst’s payment gateway, puts control of payment acceptance wherever you are – in your store, at your office, in your favorite coffee shop; and no matter how you access the Internet – desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone.

Using the computer’s web browser, an Internet connection and a USB card reader, a merchant first logs into Transaction Express’ secure website and then performs a variety of functions:

Authorize.Net

  

Authorize.Net manages the routing of transactions just like a traditional credit card swipe machine you find in the physical retail world, however, Authorize.Net uses the Internet instead of a phone line. The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway is available 24/7 for processing transactions, and offers a number of value- adding services to assist merchants in managing their businesses and protecting themselves from fraud. Additionally, the free, Authorize.Net Verified Merchant Seal can be added to a merchant’s Web site to help build consumer confidence.

Merchants log into a secure Web site called the Merchant Interface to manage their transactions, configure account settings, view account statements, generate reports and more. Since the payment gateway is a browser-based, hosted solution, there is no software to install or maintain.

Processing Process

Credit Card Processing Steps:

  1. The merchant submits a credit card transaction to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway on behalf of a customer via secure connection from a Web site, at retail, from a MOTO center or a wireless device.
  2. Authorize.Net receives the secure transaction information and passes it via a secure connection to First Data / Maverick BankCard.
  3. First Data / Maverick BankCard submits the transaction to the Credit Card Interchange (a network of financial entities that communicate to manage the processing, clearing, and settlement of credit card transactions).
  4. The Credit Card Interchange routes the transaction to the customer’s Credit Card Issuer.
  5. The Credit Card Issuer approves or declines the transaction based on the customer’s available funds and passes the transaction results, and if approved, the appropriate funds, back through the Credit Card Interchange.
  6. The Credit Card Interchange relays the transaction results to First Data / Maverick BankCard.
  7. First Data / Maverick BankCard relays the transaction results to Authorize.Net.
  8. Authorize.Net stores the transaction results and sends them to the customer and/or the merchant. This communication process averages three seconds or less!
  9. The Customer’s Credit Card Issuing Bank sends the appropriate funds for the transaction to the Credit Card Network, which passes the funds to the Merchant’s Bank. The bank then deposits the funds into the merchant’s bank account. This step is known as the settlement process and typically the transaction funds are deposited into your primary bank account within two to three business days.
